Fees
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends an hourly rate of $235 per hour for psychological services. To enable families better access to our service we charge a rate of $205 per hour.
Fees for Assessments and School Visits are dependent upon the presenting problem/referral question. For more detailed information or any other queries please contact the centre - admin@brisbanepsychologycentre.com.au
Under the ''Better Access to Mental Health Care'' initiative you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate ($93.35) for specific psychological services. Rebates for these services are available to clients who have been referred by a medical practitioner managing the client under a GP Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), or on referral by a Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. Private health insurance claiming (HICAPS) is also available for selected insurers.
Payment
Services must be paid for at each session. Payment can be made via cash, EFTPOS, or credit card.
Confidentiality
All personal information gathered by the Brisbane Child and Adolescent Psychology Centre during the provision of the psychological service will remain confidential and secure except where:
- It is subpoenaed by a court; or
- Failure to disclose the information would place the client or another person at serious and imminent risk.
